Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) – Subclass 186 visa
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) enables skilled overseas workers to secure Australian permanent residency through a nomination process with the prospective or existing employer organisation in Australia.
There are two distinct stages to this process:
- The employer in Australia nominates a skilled role to be filled by the worker in Australia
- The employee lodges a visa application to demonstrate they meet key skills, English language, health and character requirements
The ENS program is similar to the Subclass 457 visa program in that its employer driven. Where it is different is the detailed and extensive documents required from both the employer and employee to support the application.
Our professional and experienced Registered Migration Agents are qualified to advise on the option that best suits the specific set of circumstances of both the employer and the employee.
