About the Role
We are in year 1 of a 5+ year greenfield large scale Digital Transformation Program in the Private Education Space. The goal is to centralise all technology functions of 300 businesses to uplift maturity, modernise systems and processes, build future proof operating models and increase efficiency and cost savings.
What you do /Key Responsibilities:
- As a Change Lead you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of the change and communication strategies for the large-scale digital transformation program.
- Execute the overarching goals of the transformation program in close collaboration with the Program Change and Communication Lead, ensuring strategic alignment with organisational priorities.
- Experience in leading training strategy and delivery
- Implement the Change and Communication Strategy, with a dedicated focus on Digital transformation.
- Strong understanding of Software Delivery Life cycle (SDLC)
- Lead and manage a team of Change and Communication specialists, ensuring effective planning and execution of change and communication deliverable.
- Conduct change impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and ensure all change-related dependencies are managed and incorporated into digital transformation plans.
- Collaborate across capabilities to align messaging and change initiatives, fostering a consistent and unified communication approach.
- Deliver timely and effective communication during unforeseen challenges or program pivots to maintain transparency and stakeholder confidence.
- Track and report on change and communication progress, highlighting key metrics and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Escalate critical change and communication matters with recommended solutions to program governance forums (e.g., Program Control Board).
What you will have done: - Led and delivering change initiatives within large-scale IT Systems and business transformation programs, especially SAP, Workday, HRIS, ERP or Finance and Payroll Implementations.
- Experience working in Private education, Senior Education or government is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools with a successful track record of implementation across complex programs.
- Substantial experience in corporate communication, including stakeholder engagement, internal/external messaging, and social media or digital strategies.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make decisions in high-pressure, complex environments.
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities, with demonstrated experience in managing internal and external partners to deliver outcomes.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust at senior leadership levels.
