Operations Manager

Our client, a progressive fashion and accessories brand, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to join their growing team. This role is a key leadership position within a newly formed management team, providing the opportunity to shape the future of the company during an exciting phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Logistics Management:

Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring optimal space utilisation, inventory accuracy, and efficient stock movement. Manage a team of 10 in the warehouse, driving performance and ensuring effective work-flows.

People Management:

Lead and mentor the warehouse team, focusing on training, performance, and fostering a collaborative environment. You’ll manage the warehouse team’s performance but won’t be responsible for the entire business team.

Systems & Technology:

Work with the IT team to optimise the company’s ERP system, ensuring it supports operational excellence, though IT will retain ownership of the system.

Operational Excellence:

Implement continuous improvements in warehouse processes, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with workplace safety and OHS standards.

Collaboration with Leadership:

Work closely with the Managing Director, along with other key team members, to align operations with business goals, troubleshoot challenges, and drive growth.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in operations management, preferably within an online, e-commerce, or retail environment.
• Experience in warehouse and logistics management, with a focus on on-site operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and technology integration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and organisational skills.
