The Business Unit Manager, owns the full operating performance of the Australian business — sales, distribution, inventory, and regulatory standing. 1. Team & Operations Management

- Set and maintain local operating standards aligned with broader business objectives.
- Own full operational responsibility for the local business.
2. Sales & Account Management
- Own key account relationships and manage long-cycle sales processes from initial engagement through to contract.
- Manage distributor-mediated tender and bid processes, negotiating terms within approved pricing frameworks.
- Track and report pipeline value and conversion across all active accounts.
3. Distribution & Channel Management
- Manage product distribution across state-based channel partners.
- Coordinate freight, shipping documentation, and compliance for all outbound distribution activities.
- Maintain and grow reseller relationships, tailoring channel strategies to regional requirements.
4. Procurement & Inventory Management
- Order and manage inventory against demand forecasts and stock cover targets.
- Manage local vendor relationships for ancillary procurement requirements.
- Maintain sales order and invoicing processes through business finance and CRM systems.
5. Regulatory & Compliance
- Maintain local business licensing and compliance requirements, escalating legal matters as appropriate.
- Represent the business in technical or standards-related matters relevant to the local market, liaising with industry associations and regulatory bodies where required.
6. Market Development
- Run structured product trial programs with prospective and existing customers, including sample delivery, field trial coordination, and feedback capture.
- Represent the business at industry forums, trade fairs, and market events.
- Provide market and competitor intelligence to support product development and pricing strategy.
7. Marketing & Collateral
- Oversee reseller and trade-facing collateral, including brochures, sales tools, and point-of-sale materials, in collaboration with marketing stakeholders.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Act as the central local coordinator, ensuring alignment between local execution and broader business strategy.
- Report on agreed KPIs including pipeline value, conversion rates, and sales performance by channel.
