FP&A Analyst- Government Sector

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to business areas, delivering clear analysis, commentary, and advice on financial performance.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly reporting cycles and long-range financial planning activities.
• Develop, maintain, and refine financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, translating complex data into meaningful insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality, and data maturity.
• Support corporate and operational initiatives through targeted financial deep dives and scenario modelling.

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance roles
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and explain financial trends
• Proven experience using Power BI and working with enterprise-scale financial models (OLAP exposure highly regarded)
• Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable engaging with senior leaders
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

Pre‑Interview Screening

1. Using trend or performance analysis to influence decision-making
2. Communicating financial insights through dashboards or visual reporting
3. Building or managing complex long-term financial models (OLAP experience advantageous)
