APS4 Social Media Officer

Our client, a large federal government organisation based in Canberra, is seeking Social Media Officers to join their team. An opportunity to be part of a significant project that will have a substantial impact on the Australian community. As a Social Media Officer, you will work in a rostered environment, as the frontline point of assessment for social media content coming into the agency.

What you'll do:

As an APS4 Social Media Officer you will

  • Monitor social media content coming into the business.
  • Assess incoming social media content for potential action.
  • Allocate and escalate social media content according to priority and potential response.
  • Respond to social media content in line with pre-prepared scripts.

What you bring:

  • Familiarity with social media channels and operations.
  • Experience working as part of a large team.
  • Baseline knowledge of systems and processes.

Desirable:

  • Communications or Media qualification - either complete or in-progress.
  • Experience in an APS work setting.
