Manager, Communications and Engagement

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Manager for Communications and Engagement to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the organisation by managing and delivering engagement, education, marketing and communications opportunities. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment that values collaboration, inclusivity, and strategic thinking.

What you'll do:

• Lead the team across community education, engagement and events, public relations and communications.
• Execute and report on sophisticated national, state-wide and targeted campaigns and education initiatives.
• Manage professional relationships with key stakeholders including government, peak bodies, and other community focused organisations.
• Stay up-to-date with best practice communications, engagement and education practices.
• Manage the day-to-day team expenses and reporting.
• Contribute to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.

What you bring:

• Proven experience in leading teams in a communications or engagement role.
• Strong ability to execute sophisticated national, state-wide and targeted campaigns.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience dealing with government bodies, peak organisations and community-focused groups.
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practice communications, engagement and education practices.
• Experience in managing budgets and reporting on expenses.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful and ethical work environment.
