Our client is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join their team with a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $96,000. In this key role, you will support the organisation's strategic goals by coordinating safety, health, and wellbeing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, developing safety strategies, conducting site audits, and liaising with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety, with experience in policy development, safety investigations, and site inspections. Our client is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join their team. This role offers an attractive salary range of $82,000 to $96,000. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic objectives of the organisation through the coordination of safety, health and wellbeing activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to employee satisfaction, performance recognition, workforce planning, learning development and more.
What you'll do:
As a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor, you will be instrumental in driving the organisation's commitment towards maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on all matters related to safety, health and wellbeing. Your role will involve liaising with various stakeholders both internally and externally. You will also be tasked with developing innovative strategies that align with organisational frameworks. Furthermore, you will oversee the implementation of these strategies across different areas including employee safety, volunteer safety and contractor safety. Your role will also involve conducting regular site visits, audits and investigations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor position brings a wealth of experience from a similar role within a diverse workforce. You have proven expertise in developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing workplace health & safety policies. Your experience extends to conducting thorough safety investigations as well as site inspections. You are proficient in using Microsoft suite of products and have the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. Your knowledge of hazardous substances will be crucial in this role.
