Project Scheduler

As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules across all phases—from initiation to handover. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with best practice standards. This role is pivotal in supporting enterprise-level projects and driving efficiency in planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project and other tools.
  • Track milestones, critical paths, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Review vendor schedules for compliance and validate baseline schedules.
  • Conduct variance analysis and Earned Value Analysis to monitor performance.
  • Support Project Managers with time-related claims and schedule adjustments.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to improve scheduling processes.
  • Hands-on experience with cost/resource loading and forecasting (P6).

What We’re Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–7 years’ experience in a similar scheduling role.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project and Excel; Power BI desirable.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of scheduling best practices and relevant legislation.

Capabilities

  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling and planning.
  • Intermediate stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
