What you'll do:
As a Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s workforce by driving effective recruitment strategies, developing robust position descriptions, and ensuring compliance with established methodologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, facilitating smooth recruitment cycles from initial planning through to final appointment. - Collaborate with the HR Manager and team members to prepare and deliver comprehensive recruitment and selection activities across multiple departments.
- Engage with key internal stakeholders to develop new position descriptions utilising the JEMS methodology, ensuring each role is well-defined and appropriately classified.
- Update existing position descriptions to maintain clarity of responsibilities and differentiation between classification levels, supporting organisational growth.
- Conduct JEMS assessments throughout the organisation to ensure accurate classification levels now and into the future as workforce needs evolve.
- Work alongside external stakeholders such as CAA to modify JEMS documentation and coordinate seamless recruitment and selection processes.
- Manage and monitor the JEMS register diligently, guaranteeing all position descriptions and related documentation remain current and compliant.
- Partner with internal teams to facilitate recruitment panels, acting as both panel member and scribe to ensure fair and timely selection outcomes.
- Carry out thorough reference checks and pre-employment screening procedures, preparing detailed selection reports to finalise recruitment processes efficiently.
- Support project management initiatives by delivering recruitment activities on time within a fast-paced public sector environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, promoting open communication and co-operation throughout all HR processes.
