Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a range of building projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery in line with best practice methodologies and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a supportive environment that values collaboration and commitment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing multiple tasks simultaneously and has a keen eye for detail.

• Manage a range of building projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with various teams to establish potential construction and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with best practice methodologies and stakeholder management.

What you'll do:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of various building projects. Your ability to consult, advise, and manage stakeholder relationships will be crucial in delivering projects within scope, on time, and aligned with Asset Management principles. You will also be responsible for delivering up-to-date programs of work and cost management reports. Your comprehensive understanding of Risk Management/OSH management will ensure effective project control and delivery.

• Lead the development of building projects from concepts through design development, procurement, and delivery.
• Consult, advise, and manage stakeholder relationships proactively and inclusively.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and aligned with Asset Management principles.
• Act as Superintendent or Superintendent Representative as required within key building projects.
• Deliver up-to-date programs of work and cost management reports.
• Manage project budgets, including all project cost claims, variations, and defects liability functions.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Project Manager role brings a wealth of experience in managing different project sizes and complexities. Your tertiary qualification in construction/engineering or Project Management coupled with your detailed knowledge of project management will be essential for success in this role. Your high level of stakeholder management, customer service, communication skills will enable you to effectively manage relationships and deliver quality outcomes.

• Tertiary qualification in construction/engineering or Project Management or equivalent experience
• Detailed project management knowledge from project inception through to projected close out in buildings related construction and refurbishment.
• Experience leading a professional team.
• Understanding of best practice asset management
• High level of stakeholder management, customer service, communication, consultation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to promote and apply ESD themes and principles that integrate and reflect total asset management.
