What you'll do:

As an APS5 Project Officer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the overseas voting team in delivering electoral services across 110 locations worldwide. You'll be entrusted with dispatching postal vote packs to overseas voters, assisting in vote reconciliation at the Overseas Declaration Vote Exchange, and providing crucial helpdesk support to DFAT and Austrade posts. Your contribution will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.

• Support the overseas voting team in the preparation and delivery of electoral services for voters overseas.
• Deliver voting services in 110 overseas locations in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Austrade posts.
• Dispatch postal vote packs to voters overseas.
• Assist in the reconciliation of votes at the Overseas Declaration Vote Exchange.
• Assist with overseas address cleansing and the printing of consignment labels using a courier contractor’s system.
• Provide helpdesk support to DFAT and Austrade posts.

• Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with various departments.
• Excellent organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using courier contractor systems for label printing.
• Experience providing helpdesk support.
