Our client is embarking on an exciting and complex business transformation within a large government agency. They are seeking a highly motivated Project Support Officer to join their team in Brisbane CBD. What you'll do:
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily project administration functions. Your responsibilities will include undertaking specific program or project activities, assisting in research related to allocated projects, preparing various project documents, monitoring budgets, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also manage project email inboxes and ensure timely dissemination of information. Your commitment to these tasks will contribute significantly to the efficient and effective delivery of the project.
- Undertake specific program/project activities using recommended project control solutions
- Assist in the conduct of research on issues associated with allocated projects
- Prepare and draft a range of project reports, spreadsheets, planning documentation
- Monitor budget and provide regular financial reports to Project Managers
- Develop and build good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage project email inboxes and disseminate information to required parties
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Project Support Officer role brings prior experience supporting programs and projects within a complex operating environment. You have demonstrated skills in using agile project management tools and can work both independently and as part of a team. Your well-developed communication and interpersonal skills enable you to liaise effectively with diverse client groups. Additionally, you possess sound knowledge of current strategic issues relating to information and communication technologies.
