What you'll do:

• Develop and review comprehensive policies, strategies, and programme plans aimed at enhancing maintenance management practices for schools, staff housing, and early childhood education centres.
• Propose evidence-based improvements to existing maintenance programmes by conducting thorough evaluations and leveraging data analysis insights.
• Create robust methodologies for allocating maintenance funding to educational facilities, ensuring resources are distributed effectively and equitably.
• Establish clear business rules and performance indicators to manage productive relationships with service delivery partners such as QBuild.
• Lead a small but highly skilled team focused on long-term planning initiatives and the development of a forward pipeline of maintenance work.
• Analyse complex data sets from the Asset Life Cycle Assessment process to inform strategic investment decisions over the long term.
• Produce detailed reports tailored for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, that communicate findings clearly and support decision-making.
• Provide strategic advice on asset maintenance policies to facilitate lifecycle planning and optimise facility outcomes.
