This is a leadership role with statewide impact. You will oversee the structuring, procurement, and negotiation of transactions worth up to $3.5 billion, partnering with industry and local governments to deliver Athletes Villages across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Rockhampton.

Your work will ensure these projects meet Brisbane 2032 requirements while creating lasting legacy benefits for Queensland communities.

Your Responsibilities - In this role, you will:

  • Lead the structuring, procurement, and commercial negotiation of transactions with developers and councils to deliver Athletes Villages.
  • Apply strong commercial principles and probity frameworks to ensure value-for money outcomes and exemplary State engagement.
  • Coordinate across government, Brisbane 2032, and delivery partners to align governance, stakeholder engagement, and infrastructure integration.
  • Oversee design development and delivery of Athletes Villages in line with contractual agreements and legacy use requirements.
  • Prepare high-quality submissions, reports, and strategic advice for government.
  • Represent the Department and State at governance forums, industry briefings, and meetings with elected officials.
