Program Director - Corporate & Industrial
Our client is seeking an experienced Portfolio Leader to drive best practice end-to-end category management solutions in their Corporate and Industrial team. This role offers the opportunity to develop partnerships with enterprise stakeholders, supervise a category management team, and deliver strategic and commercial procurement outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement planning, sourcing, managing, and delivering commercial contract and supplier performance management outcomes.

What you'll do:
As a Portfolio Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving best practice end-to-end category management solutions. You will have the opportunity to shape business outcomes through your strategic advisory approach. Your role will involve developing a procurement portfolio plan for categories within your nominated portfolio, managing a significant spend, and leading highly complex procurement activities. You will also be responsible for developing and handing over tailored contract management and assurance plans for all contracts within assigned portfolios.
- Provide leadership support to the category management team
- Develop and implement category plans to support business objectives
- Lead the management of strategic partnering relationships
- Develop, implement and manage a portfolio of category plans
- Coordinate and conduct assurance activities on designated contracts
- Design, lead and supervise tailored end-to-end sourcing solutions
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Portfolio Lead position is action-oriented, delivers results, ensures accountability, and has substantial experience in procurement functions. You should have comprehensive experience in the development and implementation of IT category plans and complex contractual arrangements. Experience in R&D and Innovation projects is desirable. You should also enjoy developing, mentoring, and coaching individuals to fulfil their potential.
