What you'll do:

As a Quality and Clinical Risk Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of care within our client's organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards while providing specialist knowledge on clinical risk governance. Your role will involve reviewing, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance the organisation's quality, risk, and compliance systems. You will also coordinate and manage the compliance, risk, and continuous improvement database. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain policies relating to Aged Care Quality Standards. Your expertise will be invaluable as you provide advice to various committees within the organisation.

  • Maintain a quality, compliance and risk framework across the organisation.
  • Ensure adherence to Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards.
  • Provide specialist knowledge on clinical risk governance.
  • Review, develop and implement strategies to improve quality, risk and compliance systems.
  • Coordinate and manage compliance, risk and continuous improvement database.
  • Develop and maintain policies relating to Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Provide expertise and advice to various committees.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Quality & Clinical Risk Advisor role brings a wealth of experience in human services or health professions. You have coordinated accreditation processes before, including conducting audits and preparing relevant documentation. Your proven track record includes designing, developing, evaluating, and implementing quality, risk, and compliance systems in an aged or healthcare setting. You are adept at implementing organisational-wide change management strategies to support new quality and risk processes. Your interpersonal and communication skills are top-notch, and you have a well-developed understanding of IT systems, including document management systems, databases, and data analysis.

  • Qualifications or experience in human services, social work, clinical background, behavioural science or health professions.
  • Experience coordinating accreditation processes including associated audits and preparation of relevant documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, evaluating and implementing a quality, risk and compliance system in an aged/health care setting or similar.
  • Experience implementing organisational wide change management strategies to support new quality, risk processes and initiatives.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-developed level of IT skills including understanding of document management systems, databases and data analysis.
