Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coordinating complex projects designed to improve workplace safety standards across the organisation. You will work closely with senior managers as well as regional advisors to implement initiatives that address key risks while ensuring compliance with policies. By conducting research and engaging with stakeholders at all levels—including community representatives—you will help shape strategies that foster safer workplaces. Your ability to prepare detailed documentation, facilitate working groups, represent the department externally, and nurture professional relationships will be essential for achieving successful outcomes. This role requires you to be proactive in identifying areas for improvement while maintaining a collaborative approach that supports organisational values.
- Coordinate and manage a diverse range of health, safety, and wellbeing projects aimed at enhancing the Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) throughout the organisation.
- Support the implementation of multiple initiatives by ensuring project outcomes align with stakeholder objectives and departmental governance.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing strategies as well as service delivery.

- Foster teamwork by encouraging staff commitment to shared goals and actively participating in performance development programmes.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation including literature reviews, environmental scans, and evaluation reports.
- Engage collaboratively with regional advisors and managers to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions that meet legislative obligations.
