An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a leading organisation in Brisbane. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on executing people and culture strategies aligned with strategic goals, leading a small team to deliver operational systems and processes that assure organisational compliance.


What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of our organisation. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the HR function, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in our processes and systems. Your ability to develop people-centric strategies across the employee life cycle will be crucial in driving our organisational success. You will also coach managers on effective recruitment strategies that align with our values and culture. Your expertise in developing systems for compliance with all relevant legislation will be highly valued.

  • Lead the daily operations of the HR function, seeking opportunities for improvement in processes and systems
  • Develop and execute people and culture strategies across the employee life cycle
  • Ensure a comprehensive and up-to-date HR policy framework is in place
  • Coach managers on effective recruitment and employee management strategies that support a positive work environment
  • Develop strategies for effective recruitment including job design, evaluation, advertising, and selection
  • Provide secondary advice and support to managers on operational HR matters including Award interpretation, performance management, conduct management, and employment conditions
  • Develop systems to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and internal employment policies
  • Ensure accurate and timely employment information and data entry


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Manager position brings a wealth of experience in operational and strategic HR environments. You have a proven track record of executing strategy and delivering operational results across diverse geographies and service portfolios. Your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, juggling multiple projects with ease, will be highly valued. Your sound judgement, pragmatic approach, and ability to work with ambiguity will enable you to thrive in this role. Above all, your ability to lead others as a productive, cohesive team aligned with company values is crucial.

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or extensive equivalent experience working in operational and strategic HR environments
  • Extensive experience working in operational and strategic HR environments with a generalist background
  • Proven ability to execute strategy and deliver operational results across diverse geography and service portfolios
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, with agility to work across multiple projects
  • Sound judgement, pragmatic approach with an ability to work with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to lead others as a productive, cohesive team aligned with company values
  • High degree of personal integrity while dealing with sensitive issues
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail
