People & Culture Business Partner

Our client, an innovative energy and renewables organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join their team in Adelaide. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert advice and support across a range of P&C matters and take lead on designing and developing OD initiatives in collaboration with the General Manager that continue to drive a progressive and positive culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders across the full range of P&C activities, including strategic planning and review cycle.
  • Lead the review and update of P&C policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent, contemporary and practical.
  • Interpret and provide advice on employment legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Manage performance management, dispute and conflict resolution matters with employees and managers.
  • Analyse employee engagement survey results and collaborate with senior leaders to identify and implement initiatives in response to feedback.
  • Support the General Manager in the review and application of remuneration and employee benefits framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop well-being strategies that improve the health, safety and well-being of all team members.
  • Identify appropriate funding streams to support workforce development initiatives.


Key requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent significant skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Extensive experience working as a generalist Human Resources/P&C professional.
  • Significant experience in the provision of advice to people leaders across the full range of P&C matters.
  • Experience in managing grievance and disciplinary matters.
  • Experience with data analysis and development of P&C reports to inform strategic decision making.
  • Experience in leading P&C projects from development to completion.
  • Understanding of P&C legislative frameworks.
