P&C Generalist

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for lifting employee engagement and culture? Our client are keen to expand their team with an exciting opportunity for a dedicated People and Culture Generalist.

As the People and Culture Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting the business’ Human Resources initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Your primary focus will be to contribute to the development and implementation of people centric strategies whilst being a key point of contact for employees by providing guidance on various HR matters and contributing to the creation of an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Reporting to the Head of P&C, your key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, to select and promote candidates consistent with business objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end employee onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience from recruitment to integration
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, including orientation, training, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement engagement initiatives, programs, and activities to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
  • Support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and promote career growth
  • Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the organisation's values

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a human resources role, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment and engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
