Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leaders across the business, providing strategic HR support and driving workforce solutions that align with organisational goals.

About the Role:

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with people leaders to understand their business needs, assess workforce requirements, and deliver tailored HR solutions.

You will be part of a collaborative HR team, working together to ensure best practices across the employee lifecycle while fostering a positive organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise managers on job design, workforce planning, and organisational structure changes. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to meet capability needs.
  • Coach and guide leaders on effective people management practices, performance improvement processes, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on employment legislation, industrial agreements, and policies. Contribute to enterprise agreement negotiations and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
  • Develop insightful reports and recommendations based on HR data analysis. Ensure policies and procedures align with legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Advise on remuneration strategies to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity. Conduct job evaluations using established methodologies.
  • Support leaders in managing workplace injuries, facilitating return-to-work programs, and building WHS capability across teams.
  • Champion diversity, equity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organisation. Promote values-driven leadership and collaboration.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in human resources management, including interpreting legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, organisational change initiatives, recruitment, and workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and provide sound recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive approach to building relationships and delivering impactful HR solutions.
