HR Generalist

Join a prominent South Asia Pacific manufacturer as a Human Resources Generalist, providing operational support to a diverse blue- and white-collar workforce across multiple countries. In this role, you will enhance operational capability, elevate employee experience, and partner with senior leaders to deliver high-impact HR initiatives within a collaborative, inclusive and growth-oriented environment.

This Human Resources Generalist role offers the opportunity to influence employee experience and operational effectiveness across a complex manufacturing environment spanning Australia, New Zealand and the wider South Asia Pacific region. You will provide trusted HR support to leaders and employees while contributing to initiatives that strengthen culture, capability and long-term organisational success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing accurate, timely advice on HR policies, employment law, and ER matters across blue- and white-collar workforces.

  • Building strong partnerships with site leaders to support performance, development, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

  • Managing onboarding, documentation, policy updates and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Supporting the design, delivery and continuous improvement of benefits programmes, including health, pension and insurance offerings.

  • Contributing to cross-functional and regionwide HR projects aimed at improving culture, capability and operational processes.

  • Collaborating with payroll, HR administration and international teams to ensure seamless HR operations and data integrity.

The Ideal Candidate Can:

  • Provide confident HR advisory support within manufacturing or similarly structured environments.

  • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, empathy and a sound understanding of ANZ employment legislation.

  • Build trusted relationships with operational leaders and culturally diverse workforce groups.

  • Prioritise effectively and managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Work collaboratively across functions, including payroll, commercial and international HR teams.

  • Adapt quickly to change, learning new systems (HRIS experience advantageous), and maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance.
