HR Advisor
A leading organisation in the western suburbs of Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join their team. This full-time role offers you the chance to make a genuine impact by delivering comprehensive HR support across multiple worksites. The Position: You will work closely with operational leaders and teams, ensuring that people practices evolve alongside ambitious projects. Deliver end-to-end HR support across multiple sites, working directly with operational leaders and teams to ensure people practices scale with business growth. - Partner with managers to address complex employee relations matters such as performance management and industrial relations issues
- Coach supervisors and team leaders on staff development initiatives and day-to-day HR queries
- Plan and oversee talent management activities including onboarding new hires and conducting probation reviews
- Maintain and refine HR policies, templates, and procedures so they remain compliant with legal obligations while meeting evolving operational needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement within HR practices
- Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and selection processes
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Agreements or Awards within industry sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, energy sector, utilities, engineering is preferable
- Proven ability to communicate with influence during discussions including performance management, industrial relations matters or off-boarding situations
- Ability to coach supervisors and team leaders on staff development strategies while responding sensitively to day-to-day HR queries.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships across diverse teams at multiple worksites.
