People and Culture Business Partner

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, champion an ethical, customer-centric culture, and deliver impactful HR solutions—while elevating capability, influencing change, and leaving a lasting mark on a high-performing, values-led business.
Operating at both a strategic and operational level, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, translating business priorities into effective people strategies. You will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing, values-led and customer-centric culture, underpinned by strong governance, compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives and drive organisational performance.
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, organisational design and talent management.
- Lead and support employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and complex workplace issues.
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, building strong talent pipelines.
- Drive employee engagement, retention and development initiatives.
- Leverage workforce data and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure HR practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational risk frameworks.
- Contribute to broader people and culture initiatives, projects and process enhancements.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role, ideally within financial services.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in employee relations, employment legislation and risk/compliance.
- Demonstrated experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and development.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR or Employment Hero is highly regarded.
