The Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor is responsible for the training and development of employees by developing a range of high-quality learning and development initiatives to enable staff and managers to develop the skills, knowledge and experience required for their roles.
The Learning & Development Advisor will be responsible for coordinating the training and development for all employees by developing a range of highly effective and engaging learning initiatives. You will provide specialist advice, coaching and mentoring to all leaders and staff to enable them to have the relevant skills and knowledge to perform in their respective roles.
Reporting to the National Manager, Human Resources, Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing an annual training and development plan
- Collaboratively work with key business stakeholders to design, build and scope the learning guides and materials
- Plan, develop and coordinate learning solutions to ensure required training is completed for all employees
- Assist and oversee the project of implementing a new online learning platform for the business
- Managing the Compliance Training process as ASIC PS 146 Licensing: Training of financial product advisors.
- Ensuring all WHS and EEO training is provided and recorded across the group as per legislative requirements
- Managing the EAP and investigating wellbeing training initiatives
- Reviewing staff appraisals to understand learning and development needs,
- Partner with Department Managers & Leaders to develop individual training, coaching and development plans
- Manage and implement the new employee induction process
- All reporting on training and development, metrics, spend, attendance and feedback
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Key requirements for the position will include:
- Degree in Human Resources is highly desirable
- Relevant TAE qualification/s (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment)
- Ability to engage at all levels of an organisation to promote a learning and development culture
- Knowledge of the learning and development environment and practises
- Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
