We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join a dynamic team in Sydney CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the leaders in the organisation to help train and drive employee performance and align with the organisation's strategic goals. You'll work closely with senior leaders to identify skill gaps, develop tailored learning solutions, and ensure career development pathways are established within the company.

Learning and Development Specialist
Salary: 130,000-150,000 +super +Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Specialist in Sydney CBD. This role offers a competitive salary package of $130,000-150,000 +super +Bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing effective training programs aimed at improving employee performance and supporting the organisation's high-performance framework. This role includes conducting needs analysis, developing training material, facilitating learning sessions, and tracking the impact of learning initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Learning and Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the skills of our employees by designing, delivering, and assessing effective training programs. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure that these solutions align with both individual and organisational objectives. Your role will also involve travel to other office locations to engage with broader teams. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our workforce by identifying career pathways within the organisation.

  • Build and manage internal learning and development activities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organisation's objectives.
  • Conduct regular needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Develop customised learning and development programs, including workshops, coaching, eLearning modules.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and document career pathways within the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Learning and Development Specialist role is someone who brings strong experience in managing learning strategies. You should have proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams will be crucial in this role. Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) is essential.
