What you'll do:
As Training Manager, you will play an integral role in guiding the successful integration of new systems by equipping staff with the skills they need through thoughtfully designed training programmes. - Analyse performance metrics, feedback, and skill gaps to inform the creation of targeted learning strategies that address both immediate and long-term needs.
- Design and develop detailed curricula, training materials, and resources tailored to different employee groups and accommodating various learning styles.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to ensure all training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date with current best practices.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and presentations both in-person and virtually to maximise participant engagement.
- Utilise a range of instructional techniques and technologies—including e-learning platforms—to enhance overall learning outcomes for participants.
- Establish robust evaluation criteria and methodologies to measure the quality and effectiveness of all learning interventions delivered as part of the project.
- Collect, analyse, and act upon feedback from training participants to continuously improve future learning experiences and outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders—including Learning & Development teams, senior managers, and other key partners—to promote a culture of ongoing professional growth.
What you bring:

Your background should include not only technical expertise in instructional design but also a proven ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams. - A deep understanding of adult learning theory combined with at least 10 years’ experience in organisational change management consulting on large-scale ICT projects or programmes.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and hands-on training delivery across multiple formats including e-learning modules.
- Proven track record working within Agile project delivery frameworks—especially those involving external vendors—in environments characterised by rapid change.
- Advanced proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) as well as e-learning authoring tools to create engaging digital content.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language suitable for diverse audiences while adhering to accessibility standards.
- Outstanding stakeholder management abilities coupled with strong collaboration skills; adept at presenting ideas clearly during workshops or meetings.
- Strong project management capabilities alongside excellent organisational skills that enable you to juggle competing priorities effectively.
- Certification in instructional design or training facilitation is highly regarded; experience incorporating gamification elements into learning solutions would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with software such as SharePoint Online administration, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio/Project/Office suite, Viva Engage, Forms etc., is desirable.
