What you'll do:

As a Work Health & Safety Consultant, provide timely and effective support and guidance to managers and staff in all matters related to workplace health and safety. Partner with various portfolios and collaborate with Senior Managers to develop, coach, and mentor within their respective areas on all WHS functions.

• Implementation of WHS plans to enable the organisation to achieve a positive and high-performance safety culture and environment
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of the company's WHS Management System
• Provide timely and effective Health & Safety support and guidance to managers and staff
• Build Manager’s capability to proactively identify, assess and control risks and implement suitable controls

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Work Health & Safety Consultant position brings a wealth of experience from the healthcare industry or multi-site operations such as education or retail. You have navigated large and complex organisational structures with ease.

• Healthcare industry experience or multi-site operations such as education or retail
• Experience working in large and complex organisational structures
• 5 + years of hands-on work health and safety experience
• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Workplace Health and Safety
