Workers Compnesation and Return to Work Coordinator

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety culture of the organisation, ensuring that all employees work in a safe and secure environment.

What you'll do:

  • Developing, reviewing, and updating health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing return-to-work programs.
  • Overseeing the workers' compensation process.
  • Collaborating with emergency response teams to develop emergency preparedness plans.
  • Collecting and analyzing safety-related data to identify trends.
  • Ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments of work processes.
  • Facilitating and overseeing the timely reporting of workplace incidents.
  • Developing and delivering engaging health and safety training programs.

What you bring:

  • 2-4 years’ experience working within a similar role for a fast-paced organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Certification in Safety Management, Workers' Compensation, or related areas is preferred.
  • Proven experience in safety management and return-to-work coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and workers' compensation laws.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
  • Ability to liaise and build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
