ABOUT THE ROLE:

The purpose of the Compliance Officer role is to provide effective support to the internal and external stakeholders through systems and procedures to continually improve internal processes, efficiency, performance and capacity. This role will gather data on Restrictive Practices and Reportable Incidents and successfully report this to relevant bodies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all incident and injuries, action and escalate incidents as necessary
  • Report and monitor safety process and procedures
  • Consolidate data for reportable incidents and complaints
  • Coordinate follow ups with internal and external stakeholders on tasks relating to reportable incidents
  • Ensure all data is maintained accurately on all usable systems
  • Assist with compilation, formatting and editing of timely reports to provide to appropriate bodies
  • Assist the Manager with internal audit programme and any additional project tasks

Previous Experience and skills:

  • Experience working in the Disability, Aged Care, Medical or equivalent industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Disability and NDIS framework
  • Experience in reporting data via an online system with high levels of confidentiality
  • Strong experience working with stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate an online reporting systems
  • High levels of interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work at a high level, autonomously but also as part of a team
