Lead Industrial Relations Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on complex industrial and employment relations matters to internal stakeholders.
- Lead sensitive investigations and advocate before Industrial Relations Tribunals.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and external agencies to resolve disputes.
- Prepare compelling submissions for tribunals and advocate effectively to protect organisational interests.
- Mentor colleagues within People and Culture to develop their skills in employee relations.
- Manage complex workforce issues, providing authoritative advice on industrial relations.
- Prepare compelling submissions for tribunals and represent the department effectively.
- Develop strategies for investigation and resolution in collaboration with HR Executives
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or Employment Law is advantageous.
- Substantial experience in a similar complex employee relations role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Specialist negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in preparing detailed reports and conducting sensitive interviews.
- Proficiency in conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and producing fact-based reports.
