Are you passionate about driving organisational wellbeing and fostering a culture of psychological safety? This is an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, manage psychosocial risks, and enhance workplace culture in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

About the Role:

As the HR & Wellbeing Advisor, you will play a strategic and operational role in developing and implementing frameworks, systems, and programs that align with organisational goals. You will be responsible for delivering the organisation’s wellbeing strategy, managing psychosocial risks, and providing expert advice to leaders and employees on best practices for maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Psychosocial Risk Register and Action Plan.
  • Develop frameworks and systems to effectively manage wellbeing strategies.
  • Drive organisational awareness of wellbeing risks unique to the workplace.
  • Provide proactive advice and practical guidance to leaders on managing psychosocial risks.
  • Create tailored resources, training programs, and early intervention strategies to address wellbeing concerns.
  • Convene and co-chair the Wellbeing Committee, providing subject matter expertise.
  • Monitor wellbeing hazards, establish mitigation strategies, and report on trends and risks.
  • Manage critical incidents and provide appropriate triage or referrals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of business activities in line with relevant legislation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to strategically align wellbeing strategies within an organisation.
  • Experience leading wellbeing initiatives while ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and codes of practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity, judgement, integrity, and insight when addressing complex issues.
  • Ability to translate policy and legislation into innovative solutions that strengthen processes and practices.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in HR, wellbeing, WHS, psychology, or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in project management or consulting within complex work environments.
  • Expertise in developing operational wellbeing programs in professional settings.
