Senior Talent Acquisition Officer

Our client is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a large organisation, serving a client base of approximately 8,000 employees across whole of business.

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Officer, your role will be pivotal in managing various HR operational services. You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end employment contractual arrangements for fixed term, continuing and casual staff.

Your expertise will be crucial in delivering processes and supporting hiring managers for contract renewals and direct appointments. You will provide advice on HR processes, interpret relevant policies and procedures and provide business knowledge to support future recruitment activities whilst building and maintaining credible stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Director, you will also be responsible for the following:

  • Advise and support Hiring Managers to develop role statements, position descriptions and selection criteria as required for recruitment activities.
  • identify requirements and develop sourcing plan to successfully fill positions within an agreed timeframe.
  • Support the implementation of recruitment campaigns as required
  • Utilising relevant systems and technology, seek out and engage with top talent and manage end to end processes
  • Provide advice and support to Managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Offer advice and expertise regarding opportunities for talent management, internal career progression opportunities and retention

What you will bring:

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Officer, you will bring your strong communication skills which will enable you to deliver client centric results. In addition, you will have the following:

  • Relevant experience in a Human Resources or Senior talent acquisition–related role
  • Education/training in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition activities in a complex environment with competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes
  • An understanding of relevant employee relations and industrial relations legislation
