IT Support Officer

IT Support Officer, Till 30th of June with possible extension, Brisbane CBD, $60 -$65 + Super p/h Our client is looking for an experienced IT support Officer as this role has been created due to an increase in workload related to activities related to Information and cyber security policy implementation, end of year activities and ongoing ICT projects.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support Roles.
• Knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment i.e. VPN, Citrix, Intune Level 1 or level 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals i.e., Laptops and Printers Troubleshooting mobiles.
• Level 1 or Level 2 technical knowledge of desktop & software applications i.e., Operating Systems Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Office 365.
• Complete updating inventory of equipment, software licenses and IT supplies to ensure the equipment is accounted for and has the relevant details.
• Help strengthen security practices by contributing to managing assets and implementing security protocols.
• Troubleshooting some legacy hardware, software and telephony issues.
• Draft initial priority polices based on a document suite as the organisation works to implement a new cyber security policy.
• Assist with the Information Asset Register project by identifying information assets and documenting asset dependencies and relationships to provide context and support future risk assessments.
