About the organisation
Join one of Australia’s leading insurers within the Chief Data and Transformation Portfolio, contributing to a project aimed to developing a new pricing ecosystem to upgrade their current pricing model.
About the role
This industry-leader is looking for a data-savvy Senior Business Analyst to join their delivery team. This Analyst will contribute to the upgrade of the existing insurance pricing model to incorporate large data from third parties, ensuring clients are priced with extreme accuracy based on geospatial and other information.
What you will do
- Analyse requirements and provide innovative solutions and alternatives based on these requirements
- Support the definition of MVP’s, features, stories, and benefits of this pricing model
- Attend and contribute to agile ceremonies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify requirements and support user acceptance testing
- Document and deliver project artefacts when required
What you will have done
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Insurance domain experience is essential
- Relevant end-to-end project lifecycle experience
- Strong SQL, Data Analysis and Data Profiling proficiency
- Familiarity with Data-Modelling and Data Warehouse concepts
- Knowledge of Business Process Modelling and associated tools
- Knowledge of data reporting platforms such as Cognos, Tableau is highly preferrable
- Experience with JIRA is desirable
