In this role you will be the conduit between business subject matter experts and agile development teams. You will actively support application activities and projects within this company where you’ll play a significant role in eliciting and documenting requirements, delivering solution analysis, provide analytical direction and be the trusted advisor to all key stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include
- Gather and analyst the business needs & requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders, end users, developers and testers to propose feasible solutions to effectively meet business requirements/strategies.
- Document the technical details for developers and testers.
- Conduct business case development and release planning and co-ordination.
- Work in Agile environment and encourage and increase Agile maturity in your team.
- Advise on the impact of technology change, identifying and mitigating any risks and issues
- Identify areas of improvement and encourage continuous improvement
Key Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in IT or equivalent would be advantageous
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst/Systems Analyst within a large organisation specially Insurance
- Experience in working in an Agile and Lean environment
- Exceptional communication skills with proven stakeholder management including engagement, negotiation, maintaining relationships, presentation and influencing.
- Ability to think logically and analytically and develop creative and innovative solutions backed by research and analytically reasoning
- Proficiency in project and office tools: Visio, Jira, Confluence, Excel etc.
- Experience with full system development lifecycle
- Experience working with Guidewire, Policy Center, Claims Center, Billing Center, Fineos and or DuckCreek essential
