Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join their dynamic product team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute through collaboration with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team and business stakeholders. You will be instrumental in understanding customer goals, issues, and requirements, and translating these into effective solutions for business problems.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer goals, issues, and requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering core customer business requirements, developing user stories, leading agile processes across teams, and identifying solutions to optimise customer support efforts. You will also collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer in planning deliverables for the software development lifecycle.

• Deliver core customer business requirements through critical and analytical thinking
• Elicit requirements, conceptualise, analyse and evaluate business workflows to solve problems
• Develop and prioritise user stories relative to assigned features and enhancements
• Lead and drive agile process across the teams
• Identify and develop mitigating and preventative solutions to optimise efforts spent on customer support during the software development lifecycle
• Support and collaborate with the Chief Product Officer in planning deliverables and scope surrounding the software development lifecycle

Your ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your experience in defect management will be essential for escalating issues effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to translate complex information into clear business processes
• Proven ability to build and sustain business relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Deep understanding of business analysis practices in both agile and project-based settings
• Experience in defect and triage management with the ability to escalate issues
• Demonstrated experience in the software development industry working alongside mature development teams
• Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Postman, and design tools such as Figma etc
