Business Systems Analyst

This role offers an exciting opportunity to gather, analyse, map processes, document business requirements and facilitate the design and implementation of solutions across the organisation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational effectiveness through strong stakeholder engagement, high-quality documentation and proactive identification of issues and opportunities for improvement.

As a Business Systems Analyst, your role will be pivotal in transforming the current processes into more efficient and effective ones. You will work closely with various stakeholders, translating their needs into technical requirements. Your well-developed interpersonal skills will enable you to engage effectively with all types of business users. You will also prepare high-quality documentation required as part of the Software Development Lifecycle. Your ability to coordinate the testing process will ensure that project outcomes are achieved. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives and improve operations.

• Work closely with business areas to understand needs, elicit requirements, conduct gap analysis and outline future desired state process flows and solutions.
• Prepare high-quality documentation as part of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing process to ensure expected project outcomes are achieved.
• Prepare training documentation for new processes, configuration changes, and conduct training where appropriate.
• Facilitate re-engineering of business processes to align with the ICT Strategic Plan.
• Proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement through use of technology or streamlined processes.
• Be accountable and employ ethical decision making in line with policies and procedures.

You have demonstrated experience in business analysis, process mapping and business improvement. Your proven experience with cloud-based systems and integrations sets you apart from others. Your well-developed interpersonal skills allow you to engage effectively with all types of stakeholders at any level. You have comprehensive knowledge in developing user acceptance testing plans and training material. Lastly, your completion of an IT/IS/ Computer Science/ Software Engineering degree and industry experience in business analysis or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training makes you the perfect fit for this role.
