Reporting Analyst

This role sits within the Reporting and Analysis team, offering an exciting opportunity to support the build of improved functionality and enhancements within IBM Cognos Planning Analytics platform and Microsoft PowerBi dashboards. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of business processes, data governance concepts, and advanced technical application design skills. This role offers a unique blend of technical and analytical responsibilities.

What you'll do:

As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the build of improved functionality within key platforms such as IBM Cognos Planning Analytics and Microsoft PowerBi dashboards. You will be responsible for delivering external reporting for benchmarking purposes while ensuring consistent understanding of data disseminated to different interested parties. Your role will also involve reviewing, maintaining, and enhancing the current budget and forecast planning model in Planning Analytics. Additionally, you will ensure that the team develops insightful, timely, and accurate reports while performing various system administration roles.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the build of improved functionality and enhancements within IBM Cognos Planning Analytics platform
• Delivery of external reporting for benchmarking purposes
• Support the build of improved functionality and enhancements in Microsoft PowerBi dashboards
• Review, maintain and enhance the current budget and forecast planning model in Planning Analytics
• Ensure the development of insightful, timely and accurate reports
• Perform system administration role including report development and maintenance, system testing, new user set up, user support, process management, dimension and hierarchy maintenance, and security administration
