What you'll do:

As a Senior Change Manager, you will be instrumental in understanding, planning and delivering phases of this transformative program. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups, facilitating workshops and developing comprehensive change plans. Your expertise in stakeholder engagement, change analysis and business readiness activities will be crucial in driving the success of this initiative. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to communication materials and support activities. Your role will involve synthesising all change management activities into easily digestible outputs for the business.

  • Work closely with project members to undertake critical change analysis leading to the development of identified change plans
  • Develop, deliver and provide input into communication, engagement, training and support activities
  • Conduct change impact workshops with impacted stakeholders focusing on people, process, information and technology changes
  • Work with business partners to identify change resistance and mitigation actions to be implemented
  • Ensure measurement processes are in place to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of change
  • Provide recommendations and activities to embed and sustain capabilities


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Change Manager position brings extensive experience from complex government change programs, particularly those involving data or ICT. You have demonstrated your ability to operate within large programs of work that have a strong business transformation component. Your excellent stakeholder management skills enable you to collaborate effectively with both business and technical staff. With your strong analytical abilities, you can solve problems efficiently while managing competing priorities. Your high attention to detail makes you well organised in your approach.

  • Proven experience in complex government change programs, preferably data or ICT related
  • Demonstrated ability operating within large programs of work with a strong business transformation component
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to self-manage with competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A wealth of experience working within complex Government projects
