About the role
The Platform Engineer's purpose will be to bring a DevOps mindset and technical practices to life. They will deliver and continuously improve cloud platform maturity by efficiently designing and implementing secure solutions to establish a robust platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in an Agile framework to design and develop capabilities to uplift platform maturity
- Partner with product development, security and operations teams for key project deliverables
- Advocate data driven DevOps and promote DevOps best practices
- Keep abreast of new technologies and make recommendations
Skills and Experience
- Experience with Cloud cost optimization, cloud governance and system admin on AWS Cloud
- Experience with IAC tools (Cloudformation or Terraform)
- Experience with Source control and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins
- Comfortable with scripting in Bash, Python etc.
