Senior Security Specialist (DevSecOps)

The Role:

As a senior security specialist, you will work in a Swiss army knife capacity securing & encrypting all the cloud & software solutions across the entire digital business.

You will focus on leading Digital teams towards building a Secure Development Lifecycle, implementing repeatable processes and AWS Cloud security & Cloud configuration, and driving a security first mindset & culture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess a complete understanding and of the Application Landscape and the Digital Technology system across all 4 Digital banners from a cybersecurity perspective
• Lead the team in Agile environments across the Digital squads and work across multiple Cloud Platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, Microservies, WAF, Git, API's & Kubernetes.
• Be part of the design & planning process into the SDLC of all Digital development teams
• Participate in robust security application architectures and patterns for all projects
• Educate developers within the team around security standards, security systems and authentication protocols
• Respond to & manage security-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis

Key Skills:

• Cloud Security: AWS Services & WAF
• DevSecOps: CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, IaC
• Containers: Kubernetes
• Development: BackendAPI's & Microservices
• Examples of experience with initiating and interpreting technical vulnerability assessments
• Understanding Agile development methodologies and relevant deployment tools and their integration with security guidelines
• Understanding of information security concepts and principles, system architectures and development
• Expert knowledge of software development and cloud security principles, concepts, and best practices
• Keen sense of humour and self aware about own skills, strengths and growth opportunities.
