Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role:

Our client within the financial services industry has an opportunity for an experienced cloud engineer with a key focus on Azure application development. Please note that this will be an initial 6 month contract with view for contract extension.

What you'll be doing:

  • Integrate applications with Azure databases, storage, and other services
  • Implement security measures and authentication in Azure applications
  • Create APIs and integrate external Azure solutions with services
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment processes

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 2-3 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in AWS application development will be a plus
  • Technical skills such as CI/CD, Automated Deployments, Automated Testing, Build Servers, Software / Source Code Configuration Management
  • Experience with platform automation tools including Jenkins & github
  • Strong experience with Python
  • Knowledge of secure DevOps practices and compliance with security standards
