Senior Linux Engineer

What you'll do:

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating build processes into Jenkins and Bitbucket build pipelines, creating and maintaining software. Additionally, you will provide support to both local and remote staff with deployments and design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Integrate build processes into Jenkins and Bitbucket build pipelines
• Work with SecOPS to perform product scans and assist with remedial activities
• Assist local and remote staff with deployments
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

The ideal candidate for the Senior Linux Engineer position is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively work alongside your team members as well as other departments. You have a strong understanding of operating systems, particularly Ubuntu, as well as networking concepts including Docker networking. Your exposure to programming languages such as Python will be crucial in this role. Your strong problem-solving skills coupled with your attention to detail will ensure that you can handle any challenges that come your way. Furthermore, your excellent organisational and time management skills will allow you to juggle multiple projects at once without compromising on quality.

• Knowledge of Operating Systems, particularly Ubuntu
