DevOps Lead - Data Platforms

This role is pivotal in supporting several products and platforms, including the technology that supports client on-boarding, maintenance, and review process for clients. What you'll do:

As a DevOps Lead - Data Platforms, your role will be multifaceted. You will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining deployment pipelines while also supporting infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in defining service pattern designs for both on-premises and private/public cloud environments. You will play a key role in managing the technology that supports client on-boarding, maintenance, and review processes. Working within an agile environment, you will collaborate with wider teams to support the digitization of the customer journey. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines for both on-premises and private/public cloud.
• Support infrastructure and define service pattern designs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the DevOps Lead - Data Platforms role brings a wealth of experience in cloud computing and networking environments. Your proficiency in MS Azure or AWS will be highly valued. You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-code / Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Terraform. Your ability to run and maintain DevOps toolchains such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jira, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Artifactory and Bitbucket sets you apart. Your knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform or ARM templates is preferred. You are comfortable using configuration management tools and testing frameworks. Above all, your strong written and verbal communication skills make you a standout candidate.

• Proven experience with cloud computing and networking environments, preferably MS Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code / Configuration Management such as Ansible, Terraform or similar.
• Experience running and maintaining DevOps toolchains such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jira, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Artifactory and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of scripting languages - PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform or ARM templates preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases, platforms and services required.
• Comfortable using configuration management tools and testing frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
