Practice Manager - Cyber Security Consulting

The Role:

As the Security Consulting Practice Manager you will lead key strategic customer engagements where world class expertise is needed in cyber risk, compliance and technology consulting. You will be the Principal Cyber Security Advisor, Architect, and delivery expert supporting customers during consulting and pre-sales engagements. You will support customers on their Cyber Security journey, act as an Cyber Security ambassador, promoting cyber capabilities and providing valuable input into growing accounts across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Be the Principal Cyber Security Advisor and point of contact for clients and sales team
• Assess Cyber Security posture, review security threats and advise the appropriate action
• Develop and advise clients on security policies
• Manage security projects – as a security/consulting lead
• Review security threats alerts and advise appropriate actions
• Perform security assessments, review and develop cyber roadmaps
• Design security solution for cyber technology - high level and architectural design
• Assess clients security posture and advise on recommendations and priorities
• Perform short-term consulting engagements focused on Security architecture development, Security service automation, Cloud security consulting, Cyber security maturity assessment, SOC consulting, Data Security, cyber security program management and program tracking.
• Work closely with security advisory team, delivery, sales & Enterprise Leadership teams to provide relationship and capability into strategic accounts at a senior stakeholder level, acting as the face of Security with an expectation of bringing credible expertise to the client

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in cyber risk management and service background in security
• Experience in cloud ecosystem, good understanding on cloud compute and network
• Experience in Identity and Access Management
• Experience in Zero Trust Architecture, ZTNA and SASE
• Knowledge in Zscaler architecture and pre-sales engineering.
• Experience with Crowdstrike endpoint protection.
• Illumio and micro-segmentation experience.
• Experience in understanding ANZ Regulations, and advise customer on the steps implement solution stack or processes optimization to comply with those
• Extensive client-facing experience with stakeholder management and influencing skills, from senior level down to working level
• Proven knowledge of security risk management concepts and processes
• Recognised practitioner in security management, network and information security and people security.
• Excellent leader with a proven track record of building high performing, well-motivated teams.
• OT/IOT has preference, followed by FSI, govt., logistics
• Security sales/pre-sales background a plus
• Ability to communicate with influence and vary communication to audience and real time feedback
• Excellent strategic leader with a proven track record of building high performing, well-motivated teams and capabilities
• Knowledgeable in strategy, the drivers of organisational performance, and investment - including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. performance KPIs, business cases, programme directorship)
