Identity Engineer

As the Identity Engineer, you are a highly customer service focused and enjoy solving problems and working with stakeholders. You are also someone who will continually challenge the status quo and look to present options to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and support for the team.

What you'll do

  • This role contributes to the design and implementation of identity and authentication workflows and integrations for applications used by the organisation.
  • Works with business and technology stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions are designed and business outcomes are achieved
  • Analyses and resolves problems, including root cause analysis, and adheres to incident, problem and change management protocols and schedules.
  • Pro-actively look for opportunities to optimise and improve application/system performance and efficiency.
  • Producing detailed technical documentation around Identity Solutions and Architecture

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM platforms and tools (e.g. Okta, EntraID/Azure AD, Oracle OAM, Oracle OID).
  • Experience with OKTA - 3+ years is mandatory
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Java, PowerShell) for automation and integration purposes.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity protocols and standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and Kerberos.
  • Experience assisting developers with their identity and access management requirements
