Based in Sydney, you will be part of a motivated team focused on enhancing market performance through strategic pricing, execution, and risk management. Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting the company’s systems and infrastructure from potential threats. You will apply your analytical skills to detect vulnerabilities and design effective strategies to mitigate them. You will lead a team of security engineers locally, guiding their development and ensuring their efforts are aligned with the company's overall security objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will implement and uphold security best practices. Additionally, you will take a leadership role in security incident response, coordinating swift resolution efforts with global teams.

  • Oversee and contribute to security operations monitoring and management
  • Identify security vulnerabilities, create mitigation strategies, and strengthen overall security posture
  • Lead and mentor a local team of security engineers
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement and maintain security best practices
  • Take the lead in security incident response, managing efforts across global teams
  • Ensure the local team's activities align with global security objectives


Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a solid background in hands-on security tasks, including incident response, risk management, and monitoring. You possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing you to develop practical solutions to complex security issues. You are proficient in using a range of security tools and technologies related to network security, endpoint protection, and log management. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively across diverse teams and functions.

  • Prior experience in a security engineering role
  • Experience with incident response, risk management, and security monitoring
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience with security professionals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including network security, endpoint protection, and log management
  • Strong programming, automation and scripting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
