Cyber Security Engineer

The Company:

Our client is a well-established cybersecurity organization with a strong local presence, providing tailored solutions to address enterprise risks across multiple industries. They are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their Canberra-based team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or the technology sector, with a focus on endpoint and network security, integration, and engineering. This role offers a highly competitive salary package ranging from $160,000 to $180,000, including superannuation.

What you'll do:

As a Cyber Security Engineer/Consultant, your role will be multifaceted. You will participate in project planning and workshops, assisting with resourcing and scheduling of milestones. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised as you provide support to management for the delivery of engagements. You will also manage the day-to-day delivery of engagements assigned to you. Your strong interpersonal skills will come into play as you engage with client project teams to assist with the development of long-term relationships.

• Strong focus on endpoint security, including tools like Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne.
• Participate in project planning and workshops
• Provide support to management for delivery of engagements
• Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned engagements
• Identify new pre-sales activities for the development of new opportunities
• Assist with the development of proposals and pricing for services
• Engage with client project teams to assist with development of long-term relationships
